Diffusion
A diffusion model generates an image by starting from random noise and refining it step by step toward something that matches your prompt — like a sculptor chipping away until the shape appears. Most text-to-image systems work this way. It explains why results feel gradual (there is no 'lookup' of an existing picture) and why small prompt changes can shift large parts of the image.
